Ant - 1 Million Years from now

The time is 1 Million years from now. The Man comes back home after a very tiring day’s work at office. He is greeted by his Son - who like most kids of his age has a lot of questions. Today's first question is – "Why are we living here?" "Here" means the AquaDome - the super dome under the sea where the Man is living with millions of others. This is a question we all have in mind. Why is the Man living under the sea? The Man replies, "Well, something terrible happened in land. I am not sure when it happened. The ant, which was a very small creature, grew into a giant one. It happened somewhere in the forests of the Amazon. It grew so huge and ferocious that we had to leave the land and come here. Some men went to Mars and some chose to stay here".

Now the Son's eyes are wide open with excitement, "Were the ants so bad?" The Man replies, "Yeah, they looked like what they were when they were small. The only difference was the size. And with size came ferocity. They ate anything that had life, including humans. We tried everything against them. But each time they survived and grew stronger". The Son has one last question, "What are they called Papa? 'Ant' is such a small name for such a ferocious creature". The Man replies, "Son, this creature was first seen by an Italian. So it has been given an Italian name. It is called Formica gigante- the giant ant". Life for Man will never be the same again.
